About Us
Rank My Student (RMS) is an academic recruiting website designed to provide more college and university exposure for high school students. RMS is the development of 25 years in education. Our desire to see more students succeed and pursue higher education grew over the course of time as we repeatedly watched college-bound students with great potential surrender their dreams and aspirations to circumstances and lack of opportunities. We saw the need to provide an academic playing field that better suited the “Common Bookworm.” RMS is a tried and tested system. This concept is the same exact method we utilized to provide greater opportunities for our two kids. We felt that RMS should be shared with the world. As a result, we gathered all the information we used for our kids, then developed the algorithm for this remarkable piece of technology. Today, our dreams are becoming a reality. RMS is shedding light on more and more high school scholars who otherwise would go unnoticed. RMS is affording perspective students the college opportunities they have worked so hard to obtain.
WHY RMS
RANK MY STUDENT (RMS) HAS TWO FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSES
First, for the student, RMS’ purpose is to make potential college bound students more Visible and Accessible to colleges and universities. This gives them more opportunities, or in some cases their only opportunity, to acquire a higher education. Many top level high school students are college prepared and ready, enrolled in many AP, IB and honor courses, scored well on college entrance exams, and ranked in the top 20% of their graduating classes. Unfortunately, many of these brilliant minds often go unnoticed, either due to a lack of understanding of how the college admission procedure works or an inability to manage the expense of today’s college application fees.
STUDENT COST: The current student membership fee is FREE. This membership entitles the enrolled student to all the student benefits and services of Rank My Student (RMS). RMS offers additional savings for a multiple year purchase.
Secondly, for the university, RMS’ ultimate purpose and goal is to provide colleges and universities more availability and accessibility to potential college bound students. Colleges and universities generally locate most prospective students through purchased data and questionnaires from the College Board, ACT and the National Research Center for College and University Admissions (NRCCUA). Because of the excessive cost and limitations, many universities are exploring alternative methods to the current and existing options. Regrettably, only those students with above average exam scores or those “privileged” enough to have the monetary ability to apply to many colleges will endure this process of elimination.
As a result, Rank My Student (RMS) has tackled these two issues and met them head-on! RMS has created a common venue for both the institutions of higher learning and the prospective students to meet, where there is little to no financial obligation or strings attached.
UNIVERSITY COST: The current university cost for each admission member is FREE. This membership entitles the enrolled admission member to all the university benefits and services of Rank My Student (RMS). RMS offers additional savings for multiple members during the same calendar year.

The Process/How It Works
Students simply build a profile then begin to enter all their high school achievements, such as, their high school transcript, college exam scores, community service etc. Students will then see their accomplishments and hard work grow in the form of a RMS Power Score and Star-Level. The greater the power score and star-level suggest the more successful student. Each semester students will receive additional grades/marks that will be entered and added to their growing power score and star-level.
Colleges and universities will build profiles giving students an inside look into their institutions while at the same time, having instant and complete access to student’s treasured contact information, transcripts, test scores and other achievements. This vital exchange of data will provide valuable exposure for both the qualified students and prestigious universities that otherwise may not have occurred.
